Houston, We Have A Problem

My flight ticket is FINALLY confirmed.

Initially I was supposed to fly off on 13th September; so Mama bought her flight ticket to London on 15th September (she is going to London to send my little brother to further his studies there) and Daddy bought his ticket to Jakarta on 17th September morning (meeting).

However, due to some complications, my flight is now on 17th September (night), and now, BOTH MY PARENTS WON'T BE AROUND TO SEND ME OFF TO THE AIRPORT WHEN I GO OFF TO US. *cries*......... *continue crying*

Call To The Bar

Sebentar tadi, seawal pukul 7 pagi, aku ke Kompleks Mahkamah untuk melihat adik aku dinobatkan sebagai seorang peguam.

Apabila Kakak aku membaca the petition for him to be advocated as a lawyer, aku hanya tersenyum kerana obviously my brother had the greatest resume in the courtroom.

On our way back, Daddy turned to me and said, "Out of all my children, you make the best lawyer." And then he added, "You know it's not too late."

And then he added, "Why didn't I force you to be a lawyer...." And started to wonder away.

I know it is very difficult for him to accept that my chosen career path might lead me to move on the other end of the world, and I don't blame him for it.

Me, on the other hand, don't really know what I want.

Does Santa shop?

Last weekend, I was so excited to go back home because I was going shopping!
No, not shopping for me (I never shop for me! -__-), but shopping for MY FAMILY.

It's the time of the year where I get my Bonus, and Alhamdulilah,
this year I got more than I deserve.
More than I needed.
Alhamdulilah.

So, I decided to buy each of my family members whatever I thought they needed.

After 2 hours of shopping in KLCC, I came back with:-

A bag for Mom because I know she likes that collection :)
A Golf Bag for Dad because his current golf bag is like 7 years old -__-
2 Set of Lingerie and Cash vouchers for Kak Ija because she's sexy like that -__-
A pair of sandals for Abg Fezal because I hate his current favorite sandals -_-
A Parfum for Azri because HE LIKES TO USE Abg Fezal's parfum -_-
A college bag for Azam because his current bag is brown and that's so last season -__-
A Bakugen Battlefield for Aliff because he likes to play on the carpet -__-
and finally,
An elegant dress for Baby Elena because she's so gengster -_-

And for ME?
What did I get for me?
Nothing but CALORIES & FAT
because I ate like 9,999,999 times that day

Segmen Raya Pertama - 2010

Meet Grumpy.
Hahahaha.
That's Grumpy, in her Hari Raya mode.

And Little Monster ;)

Yes, yes, I know.. (and so does everybody)
That Little Monster is my favorite and I hardly pay attention to Little Elena Grumpy.
Hahaha.
Guilty as charged.

Anyway, I've been really really lazy to update.
Plus, the UNIFI at home is not really compatible with my iMAC -___-
Apparently I need to get a better router to enable the WiFi at this house.

Few months back, my sister asked me to choose a theme color for this year raya, and I said, "Yellow."
So on the first day of Raya, I came downstairs with my awesome Yellow baju raya, and, only to realize that everybody was wearing Pink!!!
(Because Dad thinks Yellow is so not his color)

Sigh.
So I went upstairs and wore this 'I look like I'm pregnant' baju to match everybody.

(I was wearing Yellow for few hours, but my Sister got annoyed with the color, because I was so out of theme, but hello, I was THE ONLY one with the theme, the theme is Yellow remember!)

See how adorable he is?
(So what if he's my favorite? Hahaha!)

I'm such a Daddy's girl.
As I seek for his forgiveness during 1st day of Raya,
he told me he only wished for 2 things:-
1) For me to get married in the next 2 years (***shifty eyes***)
2) For me change my decision about work
(in other words, QUIT WORKING for Shell) hahhaha
*double shifty eyes*

Oh, and yes, Daddy got me a Raya present -____-

Notice Daddy behind there?
I was so busy taking pictures I didn't even realize Daddy sedang baca-baca Doa & Ayat Kursi for my new car -___-

Elena Schmontel's Birthday Bash

I just absolutely love pink helium balloons, don't you?

Anyway, it was my niece's 1st birthday party, and I was in charge of the decorations.

Effort okay to fold & tie up the napkins.
And to cut the purple paper into small heart shapes -_-

I think this Balloon costed my sister almost RM200+,
but Daddy accidently popped it 30 minutes upon arrival.
(terlanggar kipas, while he was moving it to another location, haha so cute)
Yes, I can only imagine Kak Ija screaming away -_-
But then, Daddy went to decorate inside the house.
Bought some of his own decorations.
So terpujuk lah hati Kak Ija :)
The kid's play area.
The party packs
The party pack for Boys
Ben 10, Naruto.
The party pack for Girls
Disney, Barbie, Strawberry Shortcakes
The party pack for Toddlers
Hadiah for the games
Coloring contest
I was also in charge for the games, oh man,
Imagine having to handle 70 kids.
70 hyper active kids.

I started with musical chair.
I told the kids, "Fight for your chair!" "Push!"
And there's this one boy that actually pushed another girl from the chair so that he could have the chair to himself, because he wanted to "fight for his chair"
Oh my God I felt so guilty.
Hahaha bad, baaad, instruction.
The girl actually cried -_-
(I gave her candy as bribery to stop her from crying)
And I told the kids, "Kids, no pushing.. Play nicely" -_-
Then we played Newspaper Dance.
The kids were so cute!
Look at Little Monster (my nephew) Aliff & his cousin Harith!
Then we had Treasure Hunt.
And of course, Pinata.
Just like the one we did last year, for Aliff's birthday. (click to see)

Azam made the Pinata.
A pinata is a papier mache figure filled with candies inside :)
A very cute ladybird. (A very fat one)
The kids hitting the Pinata to get the candies
Hahaha sibuk nak try jugak.
OK, I never had Pinatas when I was small OKAYY -_-
Ah yes, the birthday girl.
Baby Elena, in fairy tale costume :)
And her birthday cake! Yummy
Look at the gifts she got that day.
I think Kak Ija doesn't need to buy toys for 1 whole year -_-
And of course, my birthday gift to Elena!
Her very own pool of balls!
PS> The party was held 1 week before Ramadhan, FYI. He he he.

Mission #20: Spend Time with Anak Yatim

Last weekend, I was invited to be the MC for Subang Jaya Charity Futsal,
organized by Subang Old Boys.
(And me, coming from Subang Jaya = 1 point,
I love Subang Jaya = 2 points,
it's for Charity = 3 points,
there will be anak Yatim!= 4 points,
Azri is one of Subang Old Boys = 5 points..
OK too many points to decline such an invitation, NO?)

In total, we had 24 teams that participated in this Charity Futsal.
24!
Not bad, huh?

The Kids from Rumah Amal Kasih Bestari
Look at them, so macho OK ;)
We even had a clown that day.
A clown whom refused to make me a flower balloon bracelet.
(Clown pilih kasih. Are you reading this?
CLOWN PILIH KASIH pfft)
Some of the Futsal players.
I don't know why I was the over-excited one, running ahead of everyone.
Sigh.
We raised RM2.6k that day, which is cool,
because the crowd/participants were mostly those yang masih belajar atau just started working.
So RM2.6k is awesome.
And it all goes to Anak-anak Yatim.
Double awesome.

I had real fun with the kids.

You know,
our life (my siblings and I) is so easy, so simple,
that sometimes we take for granted the things we have.

Azri thought me one thing when he came back from Ghana,
"To whom much is given, much is expected."
I try my best live by that.

Because God has given so much to me, to us.
Much is expected back from us.
InsyaAllah,
We will not take for granted the things we have, and share as much as we can.
And if we forget, please tap our shoulders and remind us.

We need each other to make the world go round, no?

Subang Old Boys, thumbs up for the great event :)

Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day, I went out to get Dad his Father's Day present.
(with The Family, everyone, except Abg Feizal who is in Belgium to play football. Sigh! So unfair, but that's besides the point. Abg Feizal if you are reading this, please bring me back something)
Tadaaaa*
A very happy man, indeed!

Then I got him custom made Happy Father's Day cupcakes.
See the cartoon?
That's Dad, dengan misai kumis & specs.
Aww so cute.
And if you're wondering why there's cartoons of cars in the cupcakes..
Ahem, that's my secret message to Dad.. Hahahahaha

Look at Aliff, I don't know why he's so grumpy.
Ha ha.
And, ready....
Look at Baby Elena...
(Notice how fascinated she is with the cupcakes?
Mulut pun sampai terbuka. Tangan dah standby grab the box..)
And Tadaaaa!!!
Elena's artwork.
(Hancur cupcakes tu :( .. Haha )
After lunch, we had lots of snacking.
And yet I often wonder why I can't fit into any of my working pants.
Sigh*
Getting bored and tired.
Babysitting Aliff while everyone else disappears.
I bought board games.
Ha ha.
For old times sake.
Kak Ija saw these 2 T-Shirts, and said, "This is so you."
I just had to get them, LOL
Family is XOXO, Family is LOVE.
Family is everything.

Happy Father's Dad.
My Father, My hero.
*thumbs up*
