Yogurtland is my land.

Yes, exactly like Tutti Frutti in Malaysia, but my medium sized cup (filled with toppings) was only USD 2.30 -___-

MasterChef Texas LOL

Sejak kebelakangan ini, memang kurang selera makan.
Maklumlah, nak cari makanan Halal pun susah di sini.
And I HATE TO EAT FISH.

And I miss ayam kicap.
Kenapa di sini tiada ayam kicap macam Mama selalu masak?

Maka, bermulalah kisah, Aziati dan dapur.
Hahahahahaha.
I've started cooking now because I don't seem to like anything I eat here (ready food) in US.

And I've always thought the kitchen was some part of house decoration.
-___-

My maids at home would be awfully proud if they can see me now.
Kak Bayam, Kak Yumi & Kak Ju, are you guys reading this? LOLOL

Anyway, my shipment arrived last week.
Yes, all my 69 boxes in my 60 footer container. -__-

The first thing I looked for?
Kicap.

Ayam kicap. Oh Indahnya hidup.

The next day, I made Ayam Sos Tiram.
(Cheh!)

Then I got bored of rice, I 'tried' to make Spaghetti Marinara.

Thank you Google for the recipe! LOL

Ya, I had to add on the cheese coz I'm greedy like that -_-
And ya, pakai cheese slices je cukup la, coz I'm lazy like that.
Hahahahaha -__-

I also made Roasted Chicken. Kononnya nak healthy living.

And of course, Mac & Cheese!

I was going through my fridge the other day, and found that I have Peanut Butter.
I HATE PEANUT BUTTER.
I mean, I had never eaten it with bread.
Just not to my liking.
(The Peanut Butter is in my fridge because my company sponsored some of my food LOL)

Anyway, I started to google what can we do with Peanut Butter, (besides eating it with bread), and I found that you can make Peanut Butter Chicken.

And I did it.
It was good! (And way too easy to make!)

And I didn't take photo of it because I was so hungry and it took 30 minutes to bake.
Haha!

Texas Rangers

As you are aware, it is December, and December is a month of Christmas, where everybody will go for at least a 2 weeks vacation - usually back home.

And since I, myself, just got back from home a week ago, it makes no sense for me to go back home, again, no?

Honestly, I almost wanted to buy the flight tickets back home for Christmas.
But I could only imagine the faces of my love ones & friends, hahahaha, like WTF you are back..... AGAIN??

I made such a big fuss leaving home, like I wasn't going to come back for years, so for me to pop back home again after 2 weeks would seem too ridiculous now, wouldn't it?
(And honestly, if I had 20 more days of leave available, I wouldn't even THINK twice, I would just buy that bloody ticket and go back home LOL)

But no.
I don't have that many days of leave, and even if I do go back, I can only go back for a week.
And with that 24 hours journey + 14 hours time difference?

Oh no no.

So I'm going to explore Texas for the holidays.
Did you know that Texas itself is almost double the size of Malaysia?

Texas is famous for its quote "Everything is BIG in Texas."
Yes.... for the holidays, let us start exploring the truth in this quote ;)

*twitch*

Carlos Slim Helu

I was reading Top 100 Forbes Richest 2011, and I am very proud to see that there are 2 Malaysians in the Top 100 list.

Robert Kuok (#61) & Ananda Krishnan (#93).

I wonder if we ever get to see a Malay in the Top 100 list.
(Even though I am pretty sure Tun is way richer than both of them, but again, it is what is declared that matters, no? -_-)

I thought to myself how awesome it would be to be one of the richest people in the world.

By that, I mean, by actually working hard to achieve it, (not by marrying someone rich hohoho, or by getting dirty money).

Well, everything comes with a price.

You want something, you have to sacrifice something.

And I don't think I can ever afford to sacrifice so much 'time, energy and focus' to work my ass of to become ultimately rich.
I'm not that commited enough.
Of course, I want the fine things in life, but that's just that.

As woman, a wife & future mother, I guess some sacrifices are just not worth to make.
No?

(Unless Warren Buffet decides to give away half of his wealth to me (half? What am I talking about? Even 1% is more than enough!!!), well, I welcome you with open arms, Papa Warren)

I will be getting my own (no more stealing the free Wi-fi from the clubhouse!) uber fast Internet connection this weekend.

Til then,
XOXO

I Wrote This For You #14

This time, the time machine took me back to the right place.

This time, I ran outside and and nearly grabbed myself before I walked out that door to kiss you for the first time.

But this time, another me stopped me, before I could stop me, and said
"The only thing worse than missing someone, is wondering what there was to miss."

This time, I sat down with me, and we drank and we spoke about how different things could've been.

For me.
And for me.

Later, I still kissed you for the first time.
This time.

Home.

I've been away, for a month or so.

Just 40 over days.
Too many has happened, to even remember, or that I want to even remember.
Too many has happened, to even forget, or that I want to even forget.

That's the thing with home.
It creates memories but also, mistakes.

It changes you.

It makes you stronger on the outside, but weaker on this inside.
Complete & fulfilled but always left wanting more.
More hopeful but less innocent.

A little wiser but more regrets.

That's what home does to you.
It changes you.

Hello Amerika.

After a month of bliss, I am back to reality -___-

I LOVE MALAYSIA

Too many things to do with so little time here in Malaysia.

Tsk tsk.
