The DVD Weekend

I don't really watch satellite television.
Here in Malaysia, it means, Astro.

Usually when I DO watch satellite television,
I'd end up changing from one channel to another, hoping to find something nice.
And when I do find something nice,
either it's already halfway through the movie, that,
or the many advertisements in between.

Honestly, I feel it's a waste of time.
Having to sit, and go through all that.
Annoying, most of the time.

So I watch DVDs, instead.
I get choose what I want to watch, at my own convenience, with no advertisements.
*happy*

I only watch DVDs on weekends, where I lay on my bed all day (and night) long to watch a back-to-back episodes of whatever I want to watch.

I do that, errr, well, until Mom knocks on my room and asks me to do or buy something.
Like today, it's "Please get me 2 pineapples. Daddy nak makan Pajeri Nenas tonight."
Hahaha -_-

I was going through my DVD collection, and I start to wonder..
"How many weekends will it actually take for me to actually watch all of them?"

I somehow just realized that I have enough DVDs to actually open a DVD shop.
And I have yet to watch 80% of the DVDs I have.
*shifty eyes*

Maradona? Like really? Am I ever going to watch that?

Punya malas nak susun, campak je semua dalam box -_-

Aliff's collection.
Power Rangers, Naruto, Ben 10.
You know the drill.

His own folder for his DVDs.
Kasi cartoon cartoon sikit. Mickey Mouse & Pooh (covered)
And Black (action movies) and Purple (Barney CDs) hahaha
Okay he's so over Barney now.

Aaah.
Hidup tak lengkap tanpa full collection of Friends, no?
The DVDs that's without a box.
Usually bought from DVD Dude at Asia Cafe.
I actually can make 7 folders out of them!!!!!
Hahahaha wtf.
And in case you're wondering, the folders are arranged according to type of movie,
Action, Horror, Drama, ChicFlick, Malay & Scientific/Fiction.
(this is not neurotic, this is organized)

Having this at home, that is why I often chuckle when my friends invite me for movies.
I often say, "Errr.... why don't we do coffee instead?"

Because I know my babies (DVDs) are waiting for me at home, patiently.
Hahahaha wtf.

Well, unless it's a Patrick Dempsey (McDreamy)'s movie.
*dreamy eyes*

Reverse

"It's hard to watch things change, when all you want is for them to stay the same.
It's funny but stupid how you want everything and nothing at the same time.
It's crazy when you want to let go, you keep holding on,
And when you want to move on, but you're stuck right where you started.
And it's weird how feelings come and go, and you can't decide what you want.
And how you have so many things to say, but you don't know where to start."
-Author, unknown.

Sigh.

Ops.

Shopping.
Ops. I did it again.
Fiq wanted to buy some stuff for his new house, and to Ikea we went.
And somehow, I ended up shopping as well.

*pretend to be surprise*
Hurri told me, as he was unloading my things into his car,
"I think it's my fault.
Because whenever I'm out with you, you end up shopping, on a impulse."
Hahahahaha how cute.
Boys.

I looked at him, "I think you are right. It's your fault."
*shifty eyes*

How Photogenic Are You?

I had the worst breaking-fast today.
I was at Alexis Telawi and ordered Peach Soda drink.

So it was breaking fast time, and my drink didn't even come on time.
I asked the waiter for a warm water, just to break-fast, but he said I'd have to pay for it.
A RM19 for a bottle of water.
Like ARE-YOU-FOR-REAL?

Seriously, it's Ramadhan, and Alexis should have at least provide WATER for Muslims especially when we already ordered drinks and YOU (Alexis) could not deliver it to our table on time.

*Okay I don't know why I'm in such a bitchy mood today*

I love Alexis.
They have great food.
But I am really disappointed with the service, especially their ignorance towards Ramadhan.
And also, when I wanted to go to the Ladies, the waiter said it was CLOSED!
Like ARE-YOU-FOR-REAL?
(Notice that I try my best not to type 'Hahaha WTF' like I always do,
because it's Ramadhan, and I try my best not to curse. Hahahaha OK)

So after breaking fast we didn't even bother to have coffee there.

Went to Starbucks instead.
Okay that's my BFF, Mya.
I cover her face because she's so photogenic and makes everyone looks ugly in photos.
Hahahahahahaha *evil laugh*
So you don't need to see her face.
*evil laugh again*

Okay bad, kitty.
Okay you can see her face.
I love you, girlfriend.

****** FYI I'm only referring to Alexis Telawi. Alexis BSC & Gardens are awesome

Damage Control

Hello, everyone.
Do you realize, (or is it just me?) that whenever you're in an Island,
there's this high sensation of just being there?
Maybe I should be based here instead.

Oh well.

Drove to town because Ipin wanted to buy Jeruk Buah.
You know, we were driving in circles for almost 40 minutes just to find Jalan Chowrasta?
Or is it?
I don't know.
I fell asleep in the car. (As usual)

Semangat gila OK cari kedai ini, semua semata-mata ingin memenuhi hajat cinta hati.

People do weird things, for love.
Don't you think?

When they brought me round and round in circles,
as I was half asleep and half awake,
I thought to myself,
People do crazy things, for love.
They don't give up, easily.

Cuba kalau tak bercinta?
I rasa cuba cari maybe 10 minutes then baik la buat benda lain coz lapar ni tengah puasa.
Tak ke?

Tengok muka H & Ipin, muka bangga dapat jumpa kedai (finally)

Kuatkan iman berpuasa.
Sigh.
People do crazy, weird things for love.
And people hurt the people they love.
And when you hurt the people you love,
Belilah Jeruk Buah untuk pujuk mereka.
-_-

Ada gaya Selebriti Lelaki Segak tak?
Hahaha
Kbye.

I Wrote This For You

Why is it that we always hurt the people we love, the most?

Nasi Kandar Beratur & Sup Hameed

Kalau pergi Pulau Pinang, tidak lengkaplah kalau tak makan Nasi Kandar, kan?
Anyway, I don't really like Nasi Kandar.
LOL.

I quite a fulfilling Buka Puasa earlier on,
but H & Ipin still wanted Nasi Kandar..
for SUPPER!!!!
-_-

Dah emo pasal kena beratur.
Everybody patiently queuing up for the Nasi Kandar.

I told H & Ipin, "Maybe they need a correct structure/system to lessen the que. So that customers do not need to que so long?"
They told me, "Nama pun Nasi Kandar Beratur."
*slaps forehead*

H told me, "If you're the first customer here, they will make you wait until there's a que, then only they will start selling. Baru la Nasi Kandar Beratur."
Hahahahahaha that's just nonsense!

Being a girl, I get to sit.
And not que.
Haha!

Okay so both of them finished their food.
Then, off for Sup Campur pulak.
*oh my God*

The soup was good. A little too much for my stomach, but it was, good.

Muka orang ada taman di hati.
Hahahaha

And yes,
I came back with a terrible stomach ache that night.

Elena Schmontel's Birthday Bash

I just absolutely love pink helium balloons, don't you?

Anyway, it was my niece's 1st birthday party, and I was in charge of the decorations.

Effort okay to fold & tie up the napkins.
And to cut the purple paper into small heart shapes -_-

I think this Balloon costed my sister almost RM200+,
but Daddy accidently popped it 30 minutes upon arrival.
(terlanggar kipas, while he was moving it to another location, haha so cute)
Yes, I can only imagine Kak Ija screaming away -_-
But then, Daddy went to decorate inside the house.
Bought some of his own decorations.
So terpujuk lah hati Kak Ija :)
The kid's play area.
The party packs
The party pack for Boys
Ben 10, Naruto.
The party pack for Girls
Disney, Barbie, Strawberry Shortcakes
The party pack for Toddlers
Hadiah for the games
Coloring contest
I was also in charge for the games, oh man,
Imagine having to handle 70 kids.
70 hyper active kids.

I started with musical chair.
I told the kids, "Fight for your chair!" "Push!"
And there's this one boy that actually pushed another girl from the chair so that he could have the chair to himself, because he wanted to "fight for his chair"
Oh my God I felt so guilty.
Hahaha bad, baaad, instruction.
The girl actually cried -_-
(I gave her candy as bribery to stop her from crying)
And I told the kids, "Kids, no pushing.. Play nicely" -_-
Then we played Newspaper Dance.
The kids were so cute!
Look at Little Monster (my nephew) Aliff & his cousin Harith!
Then we had Treasure Hunt.
And of course, Pinata.
Just like the one we did last year, for Aliff's birthday. (click to see)

Azam made the Pinata.
A pinata is a papier mache figure filled with candies inside :)
A very cute ladybird. (A very fat one)
The kids hitting the Pinata to get the candies
Hahaha sibuk nak try jugak.
OK, I never had Pinatas when I was small OKAYY -_-
Ah yes, the birthday girl.
Baby Elena, in fairy tale costume :)
And her birthday cake! Yummy
Look at the gifts she got that day.
I think Kak Ija doesn't need to buy toys for 1 whole year -_-
And of course, my birthday gift to Elena!
Her very own pool of balls!
PS> The party was held 1 week before Ramadhan, FYI. He he he.
